ABOUT ME✨

Hey there! My name is Aimin bin Anuar, but you can just call me Aimin. I’m 19 years old and was born on October 4, 2006. I’m from a beautiful place called Mersing, which is located in Johor. If you’ve never heard of it, let me tell you, Mersing is a hidden gem! The place is known for its stunning natural attractions, especially the beaches and islands. If you're a fan of nature and love island hopping, Mersing is definitely the place to be. We have so many islands that I can recommend you to visit, each with its own charm. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves outdoor adventures, so if you ever find yourself in the area, feel free to ask me for suggestions!

Now, a little more about me. I’m the youngest in my family, and I have an older brother and an older sister. My dad’s name is Anuar bin Sani, and my mom is Rozita binti Mohamad. Growing up, I’ve always felt supported and loved by my family, and they’ve always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and ambitions.

I did my primary schooling at SK Sawah Dato’ in Mersing, and later, I moved on to SMK Mersing for secondary school. I have a lot of great memories from those days, but I knew early on that I wanted to take my education further. That led me to my current journey. I’m now studying for a diploma in Computer Science at University Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) in Cheras. It’s quite a distance from Mersing about a 6-hour drive, to be exact—but I’m willing to make that sacrifice for my future. It hasn’t always been easy, especially being away from home, but I believe that every step I take now will help me achieve my goals in the long run.

I chose Computer Science because I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how everything works behind the scenes. The idea of solving problems, creating programs, and building new things excites me. It’s a field with so much potential, and I’m really passionate about diving deep into it.

My favorite colors are black and purple. I’m not entirely sure why, but I think I’ve always been drawn to darker tones. As for music, I’m really into indie, especially Malay indie bands. There are so many great ones, but if I had to pick, I’d say I’m a big fan of Orkes A Hizadin, Hujan, and Kugiran Masdo. Lately, I’ve been listening to "Darling" by Orkes A Hizadin on repeat—it’s such a vibe.

On the other hand, when I’m feeling down, I like to listen to sad songs, especially from Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo. Somehow, their songs just seem to connect with what I’m going through. The tracks I always end up going back to are "The Cut That Always Bleeds" and "Driver’s License."

I’ve also got a huge passion for anime and manga, and sometimes I read manhwa too. You could probably call me a "weaboo," and honestly, I’m proud of it. My all-time favorite anime is Gintama, and I don’t think that will ever change. I spend a lot of my free time watching anime and reading manga or manhwa, though I don't do it all the time because, well, I’m also a big gamer! I especially love playing Mobile Legends and E-Football with my friends. The thing is, people say gaming helps release stress, but I’ll admit, sometimes it does the opposite. I can get really stressed out when I keep losing, but for some reason, I just can’t stop playing. I guess you could say I’m kind of addicted.

When it comes to studying, I try my best, but I’m a bit of a procrastinator. I usually start studying when the test is just around the corner. It’s not ideal, but I make it work.

As for food, I’m lucky because my mom is an amazing cook, so there are too many dishes I love. But if I had to pick one, I’d say I could eat Takoyaki forever and never get bored of it. It’s just so delicious. For drinks, I’m obsessed with soy milk—it’s my go-to. Oh, and watermelon juice! I absolutely love watermelon; it’s my favorite fruit, so naturally, I’m all about that watermelon juice.

So, that’s a little more about me—where I come from, my family, my studies, and my interest. I’m really excited to see where this journey takes me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow. Thanks for taking the time to read about me!
